Lanvin Spring 2011

2011/01/21

Photographer: Steven Meisel
Models: Kinga Rajzak, Iselin Steiro
Stylist: Alber Elbaz
Hair stylist: Guido Palau
Make Up Artist: Pat Mcgrath

What better way to illustrate the real life demand women have for Lanvin than having models Kinga Rajzak and Iselin Steiro portrayed in a “cat-fight”. I love this campaign, it’s very retro and I love the dramatic makeup that accompanies the drama that’s in the photographs. I have a feeling that this campaign will be included in my “Best Campaign” post at the end of the year!!

I love the apparent cattiness and the impeccable styling by Alber in each picture, it’s very reminiscent of the 70s – with the rich textures and silhouettes and the art pieces that surrounds them in the apartment.

It ain’t a cat fight if there’s no hair being pulled or breast exposed.

HAHA, ok breasts’ don’t always have to be exposed to be considered a “cat fight”
