ten purse trends

2010/03/06

This spring the handbag trends range from soft neutrals to very bright and vibrant colours. The ever so popular hobos and bucket bags are once again a trend for this season, as well as some usual ones – denim handbags and studs are popular once more. Here are ten handbag trends that you’ll want to look for in the spring time.

1. Bucket Bag

(Burberry Drawstring Bucket Bag $1495)

2. Hobo bags

(Prada Vitello Daino Hobo $1395)

3. Floral

(Valentino Floral Flap Clutch $1795)

4. Bright Colours

(Marc Jacobs Amber Handbag $995)

5. Studs

(Balmain Punk Studded Bag $3925)

6. Neutral

(Christian Louboutin Zip-Detail Hobo $1995)

7. Red

(See by Chloe Slouchy Flap Bag $495)

8. Denim

(Miu Miu Large Denim Tote $1295)

9. Caramel

(Prada Saffiano Soft Tote $1795)

10. Bone White

(Miu Miu Vitello Lux Purse $1150)

My favourite trend is definitely the hobo and the bucket bag. These two trends are classic and will probably never go out of style. It’s versatile, can be dressed up or down and will work for any outfit that you have. I can’t get my brain to wrap around the price of the Balmain studded bag. For almost $4000, it just doesn’t seem like it’s worth it. Not to mention, I don’t find it all that nice, let’s hope those studs are made of real diamonds or else I don’t see why anyone would want to buy it.
